- IPMI URL and credentials from Infrawire
- Modern browser or optional IPMI client
Open the IPMI web UI
Log in to the management URL (often HTTPS). Trust self-signed cert if needed.
Launch KVM console
Remote Control → start Java/HTML5 viewer.
Power management
Power On/Off/Reset — useful after crashes or OS install.
Best practices
Change default IPMI password, restrict source IPs, prefer VPN to management network.
